“This is very exciting because our new office is in a highly strategic and sought-after location, so it will enhance our agents’ ability to serve their clients, now and into the future,” said Carol Averitte, managing broker of the Southport office, in a news release.
The firm also has an office at 4911 Old Long Beach Road in Southport.
The second Southport location brings Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage's office total in Southeastern North Carolina, from Calabash to Havelock, to 22, the release stated.
Company leaders said the expansion has been motivated by a goal to establish a network of convenient, local offices, filled with neighborhood experts, according to the release.
“This is a response to the growing needs of our agents and their clients, who want to live in the rapidly growing Brunswick County area,” said Tom O’Neill, vice president of operations for Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage.
Founded in Wilmington in 1988, Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage sells in New Hanover, Brunswick, Pender and Onslow counties, with a 2018 closed sales volume of more than $1.7 billion and more than 7,100 closed sales transactions.
