Recent and upcoming grand openings in the Wilmington area include a wellness business, an outdoor and sunroom furniture seller and a primary care provider, according to news releases.
Prime IV Hydration & Wellness, 140 Hays Lane, Suite 160 in Wilmington, held a grand opening Thursday.
"IV Hydration Therapy, offered exclusively at Prime IV, is a cutting-edge wellness solution administered by licensed medical professionals in a serene spa environment," according to a news release shared by the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce.

Prime IV Hydration & Wellness is a medically supervised spa. Brandon Smallwood, a local physician, is the co-owner and medical director.
Founded by CEO Amy Neary in Colorado Springs, Prime IV has more than 100 locations nationwide, with Wilmington hosting the second location in North Carolina, according to the release.
Porch Concepts recently celebrated its "expansive" new furniture showroom at 7036 Market St. in Wilmington.

Founded in 2015 by Paul and Mary Maki, Porch Concepts "has experienced exponential growth owing to its stellar reputation for top-notch customer service and high-quality products. Originally conceived as a complement to their existing business, Porch Conversion, Porch Concepts has since evolved into a premier destination for those seeking to transform their outdoor spaces."
In 2021, the Makis redirected their focus entirely to Porch Concepts, according to the release.
"At Porch Concepts, we are not merely a retail store; we are collaborators in our customers' vision for their outdoor sanctuaries," said April Aldridge, general manager, in the release. "Our professional design team works tirelessly to bring those visions to life, ensuring every space is as unique as the individuals who inhabit them."
