One of the newest buildings in the Mayfaire office park has changed hands for $7.36 million.

A company that's part of SunTrust Bank bought the 30,000-square-foot structure The Offices at Mayfaire V as an investment that has been leased by one of Wilmington's largest health care providers, a broker announced Thursday.

"Last year, we were truly fortunate to work with such a quality organization as Wilmington Health, which leased all of Mayfaire V," wrote Steve Hall, broker and partner with Maus, Warwick, Matthews & Co., in an email. Hall has been working with Offices at Mayfaire developer Steve Anderson and his son, Parker Anderson, on recent projects through the Andersons' development company, SAMM Properties. "This year we’ve had the privilege to work with another quality organization, WH Wilmington NC Landlord LLC, in the sale of the building."

WH Wilmington NC Landlord LLC is managed by SunTrust NLIP Inc., a subsidiary of SunTrust Bank.

All six of the buildings in The Offices at Mayfaire complex behind Mayfaire Community Center are fully leased. The builder is McKinley Building Corp.

"Mayfaire V is perfectly located within Mayfaire Town Center with great visibility and easy access from Military Cutoff along with  Eastwood Road.  The office portion of Mayfaire is now in the final stages since Wilmington Health and nCino [a banking software company] have leased the last two planned buildings for The Offices at Mayfaire," Hall said. "It is impressive to ride through the park. Steve Anderson has done a wonderful job of designing a Class A office park."

Hall is also working with Anderson on one of the longtime Wilmington developer's latest projects.

"Now that we are at 100 percent occupancy in The Offices at Mayfaire, Bradley Creek Station will be the next planned development for business owners to buy or lease their office suite located on Oleander Drive," Hall said.
