A recently completed mixed-use development in Hampstead will host a grand opening event this weekend.

Oyster Creek Landing is a new project from Double Dimension LLC, the owner of Progress Point, a mixed-use retail and office development on Military Cutoff Road in Wilmington. According to a news release, Oyster Creek Landing is Double Dimension LLC’s first project in the Hampstead area.

The development features ground-floor retail spaces, with professional office suites above, the release stated. Wilmington-based Cape Fear Commercial is providing professional management and leasing services for the project.

The project is already home to an array of business tenants, including P.T.'s Olde Fashioned Grille, Tiny’z Tavern, Bubba & Finn’s, Intracoastal Realty and Salt Aesthetics Bar. Others include Pender Pediatric Therapy, Creative Hands Occupational Therapy, Paradise Pilates, Haven Salon Studios, Oppa Nails, Pluris Management Group and Behavioral Consulting for Autism.

Drift Coffee, Riccobene & Associates and  Unlimited Investors Group are set to open soon in the retail and office hub, according to the release.

A grand opening for the project will be held on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 43 Shuckin Lane in Hampstead.

“We’re thrilled to officially welcome the Hampstead community to Oyster Creek Landing,” Louis Dworsky, managing partner of Double Dimension LLC, wrote in the release. “This project brings together best-in-class retail, services, and dining in one of the most active corridors of southeastern North Carolina.”

The grand opening event is free and open to the public. It will include live music and food and drink specials, and aims to bring together locals, visitors and new tenants.

Hampstead has witnessed an uptick in residential and commercial development in recent years, as the unincorporated area has grown in popularity.
