Ann Revell- Pechar

President, Fluent Public Relations

As the president and co-founder of a public relations firm in Wilmington, Revell-Pechar is trying to use less devices.

“I’m working toward simplicity, so I live on my teeny-tiny Lenovo Yoga. It goes everywhere I do, and folds over to double as my tablet. Also love a great android phone – currently using a One+,” she said.

Newspapers and magazines she reads for work or pleasure include Fast Company, The New York Times, The New Yorker, Our State magazine, StarNews, Port City Daily and the Greater Wilmington Business Journal.

Some of Revell-Pechar’s favorite websites include Relevance.com and the cooking and frugal traveler sections of nytimes.com.

“I love podcasts,” Revell-Pechar said. “Everyone in business should follow Kai Ryssdal. His podcast ‘Make Me Smart with Kai & Molly’ helps simplify complex tech and economic issues.”

A favorite TV show is Masterpiece Theater on PBS.

She recommends “On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft” by Steven King and works by Canadian author Louise Penny.

“I loved Ford v Ferrari, oddly enough,” Revell-Pechar said about movies she recently enjoyed. “Judy was great and Linda Ronstadt: The Sound of My Voice was compelling.

Two favorite apps are Venmo for transferring money with family and Wilmington-based SWELLEnterprise for business. On LinkedIn at linkedin.com/in/ annrp
