Logan Thompson

Executive Director, Welcome Home Angel

As the executive director of a local nonprofit that renovates homes for local children who are chronically ill, injured or have significant developmental disabilities, Thompson uses Salesforce, a cloud-based customer relationship management (CRM) platform for work.

“Salesforce is Welcome Home Angel’s donor and Angel CRM, and I can’t live without it.”

Reads online magazine Medium for inspiration. “I follow The Design Network [tdn.tv] because we have a series on it – Welcome Home Angel.”

Favorite podcasts include The Kevin Rose Show, The Minimalists and The Tony Robbins Podcast “when I need a swift kick in the teeth for motivation and energy.”

The Great British Bake Show is one of her favorite TV shows. “I could watch [it] over and over and over. I love to bake personally, so it’s great to learn tips and tricks, but the best part of the show is the general culture of the people on the show. They are all kind and positive and supportive.”

Book picks include High Performance Habits by Brendon Burchard, Dare to Lead by Brené Brown and The Untethered Soul by Michael A. Singer – “a beautiful and deeply spiritual book that challenges your beliefs of who ‘you’ truly are and what your place in the world is.”

Uses the apps Insight Timer for meditation, AnyList to share shopping lists with her husband, Kindle for reading and Almanac Garden Planner to lay out her vegetable garden for the year.
