He quickly got to work, and not only improved the quality of food being served to our patients, the practices and protocols within the kitchen itself but his general presence increased the morale of the Dietary Department almost instantaneously. What a nominator said: “Tammy Scott has served with Wilmington Health for over a decade, where she has served in clinical support roles, one where she supported the late Dr. Payne in cardiology.”
Currently at Wilmington Health, “she specifically focuses on authorizations for infusions for our patients. This is such a critical position, as it ensures these patients get the care they so desperately need. Tammy does all of this day in and day out, years in and years out, and she does it all while challenged with the daily struggles of her condition of lupus, as well as most recently undergoing chemo/radiation. She has heroic strength and perseveres always.
