Dosher Foundation Raised Over $730,000 Last Year

Dosher Memorial Hospital Foundation received more than $730,000 in donations, grants, endowments and fundraising during the hospital’s past fiscal year, according to a news release.
 
The funds were used to purchase equipment, services, and support programs benefitting the hospital and its patients. Foundation purchases included:
  • Emergency room EKG machine ($20,000)
  • Operating room ultrasound machine ($35,400)
  • Cardiac rehab center bike ($3,149)
  • On-site backup water well system ($378,000)
  • Operating room treatment items ($4,108) and
  • Brunswick Community College scholarships ($3,000). 
The Dosher foundation’s 2021 Gala, a virtual event, raised over $50,000, and the Dosher Foundation Golf Classic raised more than $50,000.
