The agenda for New Hanover County’s technical review committee meeting Wednesday includes a variety of projects, from self-storage to duplexes.

Another item on the county TRC agenda is a nearly 140,000-square-foot, four-story Bee Safe self-storage project by CIP Construction Co. The project will be located on about 3 acres at 8138 Market St. According to agenda documents, 98,000 square feet will be rentable storage area. Bee Safe Storage was founded by Greensboro-based The Carroll Companies, the firm planning The Avenue mixed-use project on Military Cutoff Road.

Additional items expected to be discussed by the committee Wednesday are:
  • Single-family subdivision Sea Lilly consisting of nine lots on nearly nine acres at 7422 Sea Lilly Lane.

  • Recreational vehicle sales site for Rex & Sons RV at 5625 Barbados Blvd. on nearly 7 acres. Agenda documents state, "The site and adjoining properties are zoned B‐2 and are in the Island Park planned commercial subdivision. Proposed improvements are consistent with this zoning and includes 24,000 sqft of general office space to be utilized as a recreational vehicle sales facility.
