Burgaw Area Chamber of Commerce: Burgaw’s Best Kids

“Burgaw’s Best Kids provides a fun and safe place for kids to participate in after school and summer camp. … They have program activities that focus on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes, karate classes, indoor/outdoor games and structured classroom activities. Their amazing coaches empower kids with tools, like confidence and resilience … all while having a great time. … Burgaw’s Best is unique because their program is rooted in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and martial arts principles. Children learn self-defense, focus and perseverance; they also learn that failure is a teacher, not a stopping point.”

Greater Topsail Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism: Ward Realty

“Ward Realty was introduced to Topsail Island in 1947. A. H. Ward started the business with a few rentals. In 1974, David Ward graduated from N.C. State University with a degree in architecture. He built homes on Topsail Island and operated the family vacation rental business. Ward Realty is the original developer of Topsail Island and lists more than 300 vacation rentals. They are known for their quality and personal service. Celebrating 78 years of business, Ward Realty is the 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award winner from the Greater Topsail Area Chamber of Commerce.”

Greater Wilmington Chamber of Commerce: Coastal Building Supply

“Coastal Building Supply is a premier provider of tropical hardwoods, domestic lumber and synthetic building materials, specializing in decking, siding, porch ceilings and custom fabrication for both residential and commercial contractors. Owned by University of North Carolina Wilmington graduate Jordan Messick (class of 2008, entrepreneurship and business development), CBS emerged from the rebranding of Fitzgerald Wood Products in August 2024. Since acquiring the business in January 2022, Jordan has transformed it by tripling revenue, expanding the team from two to 11 employees, launching over 100 new products across three major categories and doubling warehouse space to over 15,000 square feet. CBS also increased delivery capacity with a fleet growing from one to three trucks, reinforcing its commitment to quality and service in the building industry.”

North Brunswick Chamber of Commerce: Gimmzi Smart Rewards

“Gimmzi Smart Rewards connects businesses with apartment communities, property managers, and travel partners with engaged consumers. Businesses offer deals and replace traditional paper loyalty cards with digital punch cards, allowing customers to earn points with every purchase. Points can be redeemed exclusively at local businesses, driving foot traffic, repeat visits and community support. Residents of partnered apartment communities earn points each month increasing resident satisfaction and retention. Travelers who book trips with Gimmzi travel partners earn points for each night.”

Pleasure Island Chamber of Commerce: Neapolitan

“Paul Tully is the owner of Neapolitan, a boutique wine shop and tasting bar named in the spirit of the Neapolitan ice cream colors and his three lovely daughters – a redhead, a blonde and a brunette. Neapolitan is located on the St. Joseph Street business corridor in Carolina Beach offering retail wine to-go as well as by the glass and bottle to enjoy onsite. They regularly host community-based free, ticketed and membership tastings because every glass has a story, and great wine is meant to be shared. Their wine selections have continued to grow, and the venue itself has morphed into a cozy community indoor and outdoor meeting spot with a positive vibe.”

Southport-Oak Island Chamber of Commerce: Southport Jazzercise

“Southport Jazzercise is more than just a fitness studio – it’s a community-driven powerhouse that promotes health, wellness and empowerment in Southport.
