Home sales are set to begin this summer in Leland’s Mallory Creek neighborhood.

The master-planned community from Del Webb will have 762 homesites on just over 300 acres near River Road in Leland. Six model homes are currently under construction in the community with sales and move-ins expected to kick off later this year.

The community, which is designed for those 55 and older, will offer modern ranch-style homes with personalization options, flex space and room for entertaining, according to a news release from Del Webb. (A rendering of a home is shown below.)

Neighborhood amenities will include a 20,000-square-foot clubhouse with a kitchen and event spaces. The community will feature an on-site lifestyle director, clubs and activities, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a poolside café, a fitness center and pickleball courts, the release states. Walking trails, a community garden and a dog park will also be part of the neighborhood.

“Mallory Creek will offer an extraordinary lifestyle via beautiful, low-maintenance, ranch-style homes and extensive amenities,” David Carrier, president of PulteGroup’s Raleigh division, stated in the release. “From resort-style facilities and activities to a diverse array of resident clubs, Mallory Creek will offer something for everyone.”

Del Webb, a national brand of PulteGroup Inc., has a presence in at least 20 U.S. states. In North Carolina, the company has communities in Raleigh, Charlotte and Wilmington with Del Webb at Riverlights.

Homes in Mallory Creek will range in size from 1,223 to 3,467 square feet with prices starting in the upper $300,000s, according to the release. The neighborhood’s website shows 10 home models to choose from, each with a varying number of bedrooms, bathrooms and other features.

Occupancy is expected in Mallory Creek by late this year with quick move-in home opportunities and the possibility of building a home and moving in early 2025, the release stated.
