Live Oak Grows Again With Trust, Estate Services

By Jenny Callison, posted Oct 4, 2019
Live Oak Private Wealth, an SEC-registered investment adviser and subsidiary of Live Oak Bank, has launched trust and estate planning services for its clients, the bank announced last month. The new services are provided through a strategic partnership with Alliance Trust Company of Nevada.

“Establishing a trust takes careful consideration and skilled fiduciary professionalism,” Andy Basinger, managing director of Live Oak Private Wealth, said in the release.

“Live Oak Private Wealth’s trust and estate services allow for privacy preservation, continuous management, estate tax minimization, as well as elimination of challenges to the estate and avoidance of probate,” the release stated.

Live Oak Private Wealth sees the new services as an enhancement of the “expertise and personal attention” the team is able to offer its clients, according to the release.

“Our partnership with Live Oak expands its out-of-state estate planning capabilities without disrupting their personalized approach in serving their clients,” said Alliance Trust Company of Nevada President Greg Crawford.
