Anderson Hired As K-12 Specialist For LS3P

Architecture, interiors and planning firm LS3P has appointed Eddie Anderson as its new K-12 school specialist in the company's Wilmington office.

According to a news release, Anderson's experience in public education spans over 30 years.

"He is knowledgeable in K-12 facility planning, programming, and construction. He is a key resource for LS3P, providing innovative solutions and supporting K-12 teams and clients in the pursuit and planning of school projects," the release stated.

In his previous role as assistant superintendent of operations for New Hanover County Schools, Anderson provided effective leadership for various departments within operations, including maintenance, facility planning and construction, school safety, energy management, transportation and child nutrition.

According to the release, "Eddie led the planning, budgeting and implementation of annual capital projects and local bond projects, developed district-wide educational design guidelines, and reviewed construction documents for compliance with state and local design standards. He managed all aspects of major capital project implementation, including new construction, additions, renovations, and adaptive reuse. Eddie is a valuable resource in K-12 Business Development."

Anderson earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial technology from East Carolina University.
