Tammy Daniels, senior managing director at the Wilson Center, is one of five women worldwide to receive the International Association of Venue Management's 100+ Women of IAVM Scholarship, according to a news release.

“I am beyond honored to be selected by IAVM as a 2025 scholarship recipient at the VC25 conference in New Orleans,” Daniels stated in the release. “This opportunity means so much to me, not just to learn and grow, but to connect with others and proudly represent women in our ever-evolving industry. I'm truly grateful.”

IAVM is the largest professional association for venue management in the world, according to the release. The organization specializes in theaters, convention centers, arenas museums and more. The 100+ Women of IAVM Scholarship is funded through donations from 100+ women and men, raising $10,000 each year to support and fund the future female leaders of the industry.

This initiative benefits five women annually, selected from a large pool of international applicants, allowing them "to develop professional connections, build relationships with venue partners and suppliers, and be at the forefront of industry development," the release stated.

Zach Pluer, executive director of the Wilson Center, stated in the release, “The Wilson Center continues to be on the map as a top-tier entertainment venue due exclusively to the phenomenal and professional work of our staff and the huge support of every slice of the Wilmington community.

"Training and professional development on every level is our top priority, and it's great to see these efforts pay off in a big way. This is an incredible honor on a huge stage."
