ViaMark Carolinas has hired Jen Van Kirk as its fourth in-house graphic designer.

Van Kirk comes to ViaMark from the N2 Company's Stroll Magazine, where she spent seven years designing ads for the neighborhood-focused magazine, and the past four years as a magazine designer responsible for the publication’s visual layout. She is also proficient in photography.

Originally from Raleigh and a graduate from N.C. State University’s College of Design, Jen Van Kirk, her husband, Erik, and their three rescue dogs, now live in Wilmington.

“I consider myself a lifelong learner,” she stated in the release. “New technology trends in graphic design make it imperative for a graphic designer to be willing to take continuous education classes and use tutorials to keep up. It’s the future, so I don’t mind it.”

ViaMark President Bea Gibson said it became necessary to add another graphics professional to the creative team because the agency’s roster of clients continues to grow.

Gibson stated in the release, “We are taking a proactive approach to growth to ensure the continuation of speedy turnaround times for our clients, to meet the increased demand for print materials and web design, and to effectively drive dynamic advertising and marketing campaigns without so much as a blip when we pick up new clients."
