Commercial Real Estate Alliance Recognizes Annual Award Winners

The Realtors Commercial Alliance of Southeastern North Carolina (RCASENC) recently recognized annual award winners. 

The three categories included the 2024 Commercial Real Estate Rockstar Award, the 2024 Commercial Member of the Year Award and the 2024 Commercial Lifetime Achievement Award.

According to a news release, the 2024 Commercial Real Estate Rockstar Award "is a recognition given to someone who has significantly contributed to our association and the real estate profession and demonstrates the potential for continued leadership and service to our industry.The recipient we are celebrating has embodied all these qualities in the most inspiring way. This award goes to someone whose passion for commercial real estate, leadership, and community service has left a lasting mark."

The recipient this year is Lannin Braddock (pictured at right), chief operating officer of Wilmington-based The Braddock Group.

"She’s been a dynamic force in the industry, and her journey thus far is nothing short of remarkable," the release stated. "As COO, she has been instrumental in overseeing the operations and processes within her organization, applying her vast expertise in everything from new development to sales, leasing and project management."

David Branton (pictured at left), a broker with Wilmington-based Eastern Carolinas Commercial Real Estate, recieved the 2024 Commercial Member of the Year Award for his professionalism, commitment and "a deep passion for both our industry and our community," according to the release.

A graduate of UNCW, Branton joined ECCRE in 2016 as a broker.

"Beyond his professional success, the recipient is a dedicated public servant and community leader. Last year, he selflessly answered the call to serve in multiple capacities within the RCASENC Board, demonstrating expertise and an unwavering commitment to our association. While he works diligently to deliver results to his clients, the results he delivers to
the association are unprecedented," the release stated.

The Commercial Lifetime Achievement Award for 2024 went to Patrick "PJ" Doherty (pictured at right) of Wilmington-based Carolina Commercial Investment Properties. Doherty has been associated with RCASENC for 10 years, according to the release.

"During this time, he has been a strong advocate for the association and a driving force in helping to shape RCASENC into the successful organization it is today. His service includes a term as president as well as several terms as a director," Doherty said. "The recipient holds the CCIM designation and has represented RCASENC at CCIM meetings at both the State and National level.

"As a licensed Commercial Continuing Education instructor, he has also been instrumental in bringing CCIM courses and instructors to our area for the benefit of our members. This recipient is a part of the fabric of our local community and is well respected within our industry."

The RCASENC awards were presented at the 7th annual Cape Fear CREW Awards of Excellence held March 14 at the Aloft at Coastline Center.
