MedNorth Announces Board Chair

MedNorth Health Center recently announced the election of Sonya Peele as board chair. 

Peele is the chief executive consultant of Work it Girl Coaching & Consulting. As a multinational award-winning sales and marketing executive, Peele has more than 30 years of experience in the health care, pharmaceutical and business industries with some of the nation’s top fortune 100 companies, including Merck and Co, Lundbeck and Qwest Communications, according to a news release.

"She has experienced great success as a sales trainer, facilitator, director, manager and entrepreneur," the release stated. "She thrives on helping others find success personally and in business, and she is passionate about supporting business growth, developing leaders and empowering them while experiencing joy in the process."

MedNorth Health Center is a federally funded community health center that provides "comprehensive health care that is accessible, culturally, and linguistically competent, community-directed and patient-centered," according to the release.
