McKinley Building Announces Promotions, New Hire

Wilmington-based general contractor McKinley Building Corp. recently announced the promotion of two team members and a highly experienced new hire.

Steven Asher was promoted to the role of general superintendent. Asher joined McKinley Building in 2015 as a superintendent and has over 24 years of construction experience, according to a news release. 

“During his tenure, he has successfully managed high-profile projects, including Sawmill Point Apartments, Bradley Creek Station, and multiple renovations for nCino Headquarters. Steven’s focus on quality, safety, and efficiency has earned him the respect of clients and colleagues alike,” the release stated.

Chase Jarrett (pictured at right) was promoted to project manager from his previous role as assistant project manager. Jarrett joined McKinley Building in 2021 “and has demonstrated exceptional leadership on projects such as the Wilmington Trade Center and IKA Works Production Space Expansion.

"With a background in construction management and over nine years of industry experience, Chase is poised to continue delivering outstanding results for McKinley’s clients,” according to the release.

McKinley Building also welcomed Frank Hoke (pictured at left), who has over 30 years of construction experience, as superintendent, having managed projects ranging from multi-million-dollar hotels to high-end restaurant remodels. 

The release stated, “His impressive resume includes roles such as project manager and owner’s representative for major construction firms, as well as owning and operating a successful residential construction company.”
