LINC Inc. Announces New Board Members

By Staff Reports, posted Nov 26, 2024
Leading Into New Communities Inc. (LINC Inc.) recently announced it has new board members.

The Wilmington-based nonprofit organization provides transitional living and supportive case management to men and women returning from prison.

“LINC Inc. thrives because of the commitment and leadership of those who guide our vision,” stated Frankie Roberts, executive director of LINC Inc., in a news release. “Our new board members are continuing in the steps of those who are retiring from the board, and whose work we deeply appreciate. We are looking forward to  new perspectives that build upon what has already been accomplished. This is a pivotal time due to major projects we are undertaking, including the Hisan J. Polk Transformation Academy, 1019 Princess and the new detox and crisis stabilization facility.”

The new board members are Brenda Roberts-Fong, Kacie Harless, Ashley Helfer, Brandy Watts, Cory Wrisborne, Rosetta Royster and McKay Siegel.

They "bring a wealth of experience, leadership, and a shared passion for LINC's mission to create second chances and opportunities for success and resilience. Their diverse backgrounds and expertise will support the organization in expanding its impact across the Cape Fear region," the release stated.

"Their combined leadership experience, community service experience, and support of our mission will help guide the organization's continued growth and success,” stated Ashley Wells, LINC board chair, in the release.
