New Hanover County Commissioner Rob Zapple has been selected to serve on the board of directors for the N.C. Association of County Commissioners (NCACC).
Zapple, who is in his third term as a New Hanover County Commissioner, will be one of 18 district directors on the board. He will be representing District 4, which includes New Hanover, Brunswick, Pender and Columbus counties, for a two-year term.
"I’m grateful for the trust placed in me to represent the four-county area our district consists of, and I look forward to bringing insight from these communities to the table as the NCACC creates policies that best serve our residents and the state as a whole," Zapple stated in the release.
Zapple was sworn in at the NCACC Board of Directors meeting earlier this month in Greensboro.
