Law Firm Receives Family Forward NC Certification

Brooks Pierce received Family Forward NC certification at the engaged level, according to a news release.

The release stated that ​the certification recognizes employers that provide family-friendly workplace benefits, including policies and practices that support the health and well-being of working families and children.

In the release, Brooks Pierce Managing Partner Reid Phillips stated, “It is rewarding to create a family-friendly environment where all of our employees thrive both in and outside work.”

According to the release, employers must apply, undergo verification of written policies and participate in an employee survey to receive certification.

The release stated, “Employers who achieve certification create positive social change for families with benefits that promote health, financial stability and future career success.”

Family Forward NC is an initiative of the North Carolina Early Childhood Foundation.
