Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage Announces Two New Agents

By Staff Reports, posted Jun 11, 2024
Wilmington-based residential real estate firm Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage officials recently announced that Tahseen “T” Muhammad has joined the agency's Hampstead office and Michelle Roberts has joined its Wilmington-Autumn Hall office.

“With many years of experience in the sales arena, T brings an understanding of negotiating and a talent for problem-solving that definitely benefits his clients,” said Phil Misciagno, managing broker of the Hampstead office, in a news release. “We’re happy to have him here. He’s a wonderful fit with the culture in our office and our company.”

Prior to his transition into real estate, Muhammad spent 13 years at Hendrick Auto Group, starting as a salesman and rising to the position of sales manager. He also spent four years as a finance manager.

"Fluent in Arabic as well as English, Muhammad enjoys connecting with people from a variety of backgrounds," the release stated. "A resident of Onslow County since 2007, he has lived all over North Carolina, from the mountains to the coast."

He currently serves as a member of the Red Knights Motorcycle Club, which organizes an annual charity ride to alleviate the financial concerns of families facing medical expenses.

Outside of work, Muhammad enjoys family time with his daughters, riding his Harley Davidson and going fishing, according to the release. He also enjoys spending time with his chocolate lab, Chip, named for his appreciation of chocolate chip cookies.

Roberts began her real estate career in 2007 and has steadily grown her business while navigating a variety of market cycles, the release stated.

“The latter part of the 2000s was especially tough and I entered the industry during a very challenging time. However, adversity builds strength and I like to think those years gave me the opportunity to build and refine my skills and that continues to benefit my clients today,” Roberts stated in the release.

“Michelle has built an excellent reputation in the Wilmington area as a result of her dedication to the community as well as her clients,” said Polly Purnell-Norris, managing broker, of the Wilmington-Autumn Hall office. “She is recognized and respected as a business leader and we are so excited to welcome her back.”

As the past president of the NC Realtors (NCR) Housing Foundation, Roberts led the 100 Homes in 100 Counties affordable housing initiative. The foundation has invested nearly $2 million in funds to provide and maintain affordable housing options across North Carolina.

Roberts has also served on the NCR Professional Standards Committee and the Cape Fear Realtors Board of Directors. She helped launch the CFR Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Network and recently graduated from the NCR Leadership Academy.
