The Wilmington-Cape Fear Home Builders Association (WCFHBA) added Hope Taylor as its director of business development, according to a news release.

In this new role, Taylor will be working with the association's members to help enhance and showcase the benefits and value the WCFHBA offers, the release stated. She will also be working closely with the association's leadership team to help produce and enhance the association's non-dues revenue streams and affinity agreement partnerships.

Before joining WCFHBA, Taylor served as the customer service manager for Untappd, managing a portfolio of 3,000 small-medium business accounts with an emphasis on revenue creation and customer retention.

"With a diverse professional background, including roles at Carolina Country Club and Untappd, Hope brings a wealth of sales and customer service management experience to our team," said Cameron Moore, WCFHBA's executive officer, in the release. "We fully expect that Hope will be an asset in the years to come that allows us to provide our members with the services and the return on investment they deserve.”

A North Carolina native, Taylor earned a degree in hospitality management and an MBA from East Carolina University. During her college years, she worked with ECU's Construction Management Department and comes from a construction-oriented family with ties to Caterpillar, according to the release. Recently married, Taylor and her husband live in Leland and she finds joy in beach days, baking, travel, ECU football games and walks with her dog, Bones.
