Wilmington-based residential real estate firm Century 21 Vanguard recently welcomed Jason Hamlett, Amanda Pietrzak and Lori Stafford to its team.

Hamlett will specialize in residential and land sales in New Hanover and Brunswick counties, according to a news release.

"He has completed extensive training and licensing as required by the N.C. Real Estate Commission to obtain his broker license and continues to strengthen his business through ongoing education with Cape Fear Realtors as well as the Century 21 University," the release stated.

Hamlett stated in the release, "I have been dreaming of becoming a real estate broker for years. And now, after having served my community for almost 20 years in Emergency Services and EMS, I took the leap and started this journey. During my EMS career, I learned the value of hard work and personal integrity, and will continue to exhibit those characteristics as I progress as a broker. I am excited to have opportunities to continue serving my community in a new way."

Pietrzak (pictured above right), who held a broker license in North Carolina prior to moving to Indiana, specializes in relocation, residential, second home and land sales.

"We are so pleased to announce that Amanda has moved back to the Wilmington area and will be joining our team," stated Wendy Knott, who manages Century 21 Vanguard, in the release. "Her firsthand experience of moving and relocating will greatly enhance the services she provides to her clients."

Originally from the Morehead City area, Stafford (pictured at right) has lived in Wilmington for over 30 years. She graduated from UNCW with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, and she and her husband have two daughters who attend N.C. State University.

Before becoming a real estate agent, Stafford worked as an instructional assistant for New Hanover County Schools.
