Jennifer Roden
Craige & Fox PLLC recently announced the promotion of attorney Jennifer Marshall Roden to partner.

Roden joined the firm in September 2013. She is a N.C. State Bar Board Certified Specialist in Elder Law and a Certified Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation.

Roden will continue to focus her practice on elder law, estate planning, guardianships and special needs planning. Craige & Fox will also continue to provide legal services in the areas of estate administration, fiduciary litigation and municipal law.

Born, raised and educated in Alabama, Roden's dedication to legal support and representation for elders began early in her legal career, according to the law firm's website. She graduated from the University of Alabama in 2009 and the university's school of law in 2012.

"As a law student, Jennifer volunteered as a Medicaid Long Term Care Ombudsman for West Alabama and served with the Public Interest Clearing House Senior’s Rights Clinic in Melbourne, Australia," the site states.

After graduating from law school, she was awarded a fellowship from the Borchard Foundation Center on Law and Aging.

"As a Borchard Fellow, Jennifer worked as a staff attorney for the Elder Law Clinic of the University of Alabama School of Law representing older clients in legal matters such as resident’s rights, estate planning and Medicaid Long Term Care planning," according to the site.
