Three members of Cape Fear Realtors were presented with achievement awards at the NC Realtors Convention and Expo in Cherokee.

Stephanie Lanier, leader of Wilmington-based Lanier Property Group of Intracoastal Realty Corp., was awarded the Realtor Innovation & Entrepreneurial Excellence Award.

"This award recognizes a member who offers the most innovative and entrepreneurial ideas for others to borrow and use in their own success," the release stated. "Lanier demonstrates the best traits of entrepreneurship, including drive, perseverance, business creativity, and a willingness to take risks."

Tony Harrington, owner of The Property Shop International Realty, was awarded the Committee Member of the Year Award. The honor recognizes an NC Realtors committee member "who has demonstrated initiative, enthusiasm and originality and who has dedicated time to committee work above what is usually required of a committee member," according to the release. "Harrington gives selflessly of his time to ensure CFR maintains its innovative and impactful voice for the real estate industry."

Tom Gale of Wilmington-based Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage, was awarded the Realtor Regional Service Award for Region 2. The award recognizes a Realtor in each NC Realtors Region who has contributed to and is continuing to contribute to their communities, local board, state and National Association of Realtors.

"As a member of the CFR Foundation Board of Directors, Gale works hard to carry out each initiative," the release stated.

Ea Ruth, 2022 CFR president, said in the release, “We could not think of a better way to represent Cape Fear Realtors at the state level than by showcasing the incredible talent of our members. Thank you for all that you do to make Cape Fear REALTORS® a great association for our community. As we continue to represent the voice of Real Estate at our local level, it is important to recognize and celebrate the excellence of our members at the state level."
