TowneBank Mortgage named David Macaione as the sales manager for Eastern North Carolina.
Macaione oversees a team of loan officers in Wilmington and Greenville, "helping them to continue their growth and success in the mortgage industry," according to a news release.
He brings 37 years of experience in the mortgage industry to his new role at Towne, having previously worked as a top producing mortgage banker and loan originator.
Macaione began in the industry as the result of a family member owning a small broker shop.
"This invaluable experience at a young age ignited his passion and paved the way for his future career. David is enthusiastic about helping individuals and families navigate one of the most important events of their lives – homeownership," the release stated.
