Amber Hoagland has been promoted to general manager at a local Office Depot, according to a news release.

Hoagland has become general manager of the Office Depot store located in Hanover Center off Oleander Drive in Wilmington. She fills the post after Joshua Dewberry, the previous general manager there, was promoted to district sales manager.

"I started my career with Office Depot 13 years ago as a part-time employee. I worked very hard over the years to get to where I am today. I am managing the highest volume store in our district while being a training store,” said Hoagland in the release.

Hoagland accepted the promotion in May, she said.
