Wilmington Chamber Hires Meaghan Lewis

Meaghan Lewis has joined the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce as director over its leadership development, according to a news release.

Lewis is responsible for executing the chamber’s Leadership Wilmington program and will focus on talent and workforce initiatives, officials said in the release.

She previously worked for Duke Energy as a workforce development consultant. Prior to her role with Duke Energy, she spent six years with the N.C. Chamber.

“We are thrilled to welcome Meaghan to the team,” said Natalie English, president and CEO of the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce. “Her knowledge will allow us to continue fostering and developing leaders in the community by creating more opportunities for pro-prosperity community service.”

“Meaghan’s experience managing talent and workforce development programs will also allow us to engage educational and business leaders on talent development needs in the Wilmington community,” she added.
