The Wilmington executive search firm of Babb McGrew was included in the 2018-19 Forbes list of the Top 200 Best Executive Search Firms in the U.S. Babb McGrew was the only Wilmington executive search firm to be ranked in the top 200, and one of only two in North Carolina.
 
This is the second consecutive year that the firm made the list. It debuted on the Forbes rankings last year as No. 181. It moved up a notch to 180 on the current list.
 
Babb, a former U.S. Army officer, subsequently worked in health care management and brought that knowledge to the recruiting industry when he moved from the Triangle to Wilmington in 1998.

After 13 years working for another recruiting firm locally, Babb founded his own firm in 2011, focused on companies in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Babb McGrew concentrates on searches in clinical development and research and development, according to Babb.
