LS3P has announced several leadership changes that have taken place this month, according to a news release.

Vice president and principal Laura Miller was named Wilmington office leader, officials said in the release.

Miller, who joined the firm in 2000, previously served as operations and finance manager for the Wilmington office. She will oversee practice and operations in the area, according to the release.

Vice president and principal Chris Boney was named chief relationships officer. He joined the firm in 1997 and previously served as Wilmington office leader and senior living practice leader.

Boney (right) will focus on firmwide business development and lead the company's business development team. Officials said that Boney is taking on this corporate role, but will still be based in the Wilmington office.

LS3P is an architecture firm with eight offices in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia, according to the release.

Other new leadership roles announced outside the firm's presence in Wilmington, include executive vice president and principal Katherine Peele, who was named chief practice officer; executive vice president and principal George Temple, who is now chief operations officer; and associate principal Katie Robinson has been named brand and communications officer.

LS3P’s president, chairman, and CEO Thompson Penney said in the release that he sees these new roles as part of the firm’s "continuous evolution."

“Each of these team members brings significant experience, expertise, and passion to these positions. Though we work in a rapidly changing industry, I am confident that these leaders will bring inspiration, thought leadership, and passion to these roles as we enter a new chapter in our firm," Penney said in the release.
