Tracy Swanson Selected For N.C. Realtors' Leadership Academy

Tracy Swanson, broker in charge and owner of Swanson Realty, has been selected to participate in the N.C. Realtors’ 2019 Leadership Academy, according to an announcement.

Swanson is a member of the Brunswick County Association of Realtors (BCAR) and previously served on its board of directors. She has been an active member of the organization since 2006, officials said.

Swanson served on the board from January 2016 through the end of 2018, officials said. She has been on several BCAR committees, including election, strategic planning and legislative.

She also served as a Marine Corps gunnery sergeant.

"Tracy Swanson is a leader in Brunswick County’s real estate community and we are thrilled that she has been selected as one of twelve students across all of North Carolina for this year’s leadership academy,” 2019 BCAR President Lynn Gulledge said in the release.

Officials said that the N.C. Realtors’ Leadership Academy aims to identify and prepare Realtor leaders for future positions the real estate industry.

“I look forward to being able to take the knowledge I will gain from this program and improve our business and the community in which I live,” said Swanson in the release.
