In the week leading up to Christmas, Whole Foods Wilmington, 3804 Oleander Drive, is chock-full of festive holiday activities for the whole family.

On Dec. 17, check out the store's Milk and Cookies event featuring a giant cookie decorating station. Kids of all ages can decorate sugar cookies while singing carols and messing up someone else’s kitchen for a change. The fun starts at 5 p.m.

On Dec. 18, tune in for a live Twitter chat designed to help you prepare for your Christmas feast. Whether you're looking for a main course, sides or desserts, you don’t want to miss these tips. Follow #WFMdish to join the conversation 6-7 p.m. CST.

On Dec. 19, join Level II Sommelier Shawn Underwood for a top-shelf wine tasting featuring wines from the French region of Burgundy. Sip Burgundy’s finest while enjoying cheeses, chocolates and pâtés to complement each bottle. Cost is $30 per person, and the event begins at 7 p.m. Reservations are required. Call 777-2499 to RSVP.

Finally, on Dec. 20, stop in for Bubbles and Bites, a wine tasting dedicated to elegance at an affordable price. This special tasting, held 1-3 p.m., will feature a variety of sparkling wines -- all under $15 -- as well as seasonal snacks.

See the Whole Foods website for full details on all December events.
