Todd Toconis Named Top Downtown Realtor Producer

By Staff Reports, posted Feb 28, 2017
Todd Toconis
Wilmington Downtown Inc. recognized real estate broker Todd Toconis of Town and Country Real Estate as the Wilmington Downtown Top Producer of 2016.

The award, a collaboration between WDI and the Cape Fear Realtors, recognizes the real estate broker who completed the most transactions in downtown during the year, according to a news release.

Toconis had 19 sides, or transactions representing either the seller or buyer, with an investment value of nearly $2.1 million, the release stated.

“Part of our economic development strategy is to have more people living downtown,” Cathey Luna, chair of WDI’s Enjoy Committee, said in the release. “This award recognizes the skills and efforts of the local real estate professional that excelled in this submarket and helped to further accelerate our downtown revitalization goals.”

Toconis called the recognition an honor.

“As someone who lives downtown and also offices here,” he said, “I am able to offer clients great insights into the quality of life and other benefits of living in our urban center.”
