The next installment of Hops Supply Co.’s continuing Master of Craft series will take place at 6:30 tonight.
Dubbed "A Feast of Pirates: a Beer Dinner with Edward Teach Brewing,” the event features four courses prepared by Hops executive chef Rex Horrell, each paired with some the latest craft beers from Edward Teach Brewery.
The first course will feature a charcuterie plate with soppresata, Iberico chorizo, smoked trout pate, Lindale gouda, and mission figs paired with the Cutlass German lager.
The second course will be roasted duck street tacos with a charred poblano salsa and brussel sprout slaw paired with Teaches Peaches, a seasonal wheat beer brewed with fresh peaches. That will be followed by bacon-wrapped pork loin topped with a chipotle honey glaze and served with Oaxaca scalloped potatoes and paired with Devil’s Son IPA.
The dessert course will feature a salted caramel apple galette with maple bourbon whipped cream and a pour of peg leg chocolate porter.
As always, the Master of Craft series allows for interaction between guests and the chef as well as the featured brewers, and representatives from Edward Teach will be onsite to discuss their beers and answer questions.
The dinner is $45 per person, including gratuity. Tickets are available at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/a-feast-of-pirates-beer-dinner-with-edward-teach-brewery-tickets-58121634373
