The second of two new indoor golf simulation venues opened this past weekend in the Marina Village at RiverLights.
Club Golf Indoor, owned by Tina and Tyler Eversole, is an indoor golf facility and sports bar that offers guests the experience of practicing at golf courses across the world.
“This is about more than just bringing Pebble Beach, Bay Hill and Torrey Pines to Wilmington,” said co-founder Tyler Eversole in a news release. “It’s about creating a fun, welcoming environment where golfers of all ages can share in the love of the game, regardless of weather or time constraints.”
The 2,700-square-foot venue offers four Full Swing Golf Simulators, numerous TVs and a large, full-service bar. Patrons are invited to have food delivered from neighboring Magnolia Café or Smoke on the Water.
Club Golf Indoor’s simulators utilize a patented dual tracking technology that owners say delivers a golfing experience that is almost identical to the real world. It includes stroke-improving feedback for those who are interested in learning more about their swing path, club head speed or the position of the club face at impact. Patrons are encouraged to bring their own clubs if desired, or choose from a complimentary demo set available at the facility.
"Although we love the game of golf, we recognized that it doesn’t always fit into the demands of a busy schedule. We’re thrilled about the fact that you can play a full round of golf here in about an hour, whether it’s raining or cold or dark outside. It’s also exciting for us to think this is the perfect place to learn the game, and that the simulators offer a variety of other family-friendly activities, such as soccer, zombie dodgeball and carnival games," Tina Eversole said.
Jim Henry, vice president of operations of Newland Communities, said in the release, “The venue brings a lively, interactive experience to the community and adds to the dynamic experience that Marina Village offers.”
Club Golf Indoor is at 109 Pier Master Point, Suite 140. Rates start at $40 per hour and tee times can be booked in advance online.
