Your Pie, a fast-casual restaurant specializing in customizable, brick oven pizzas, on Friday will celebrate the grand opening of its Wilmington location at 4403 Oleander Drive.

This is the brand’s third location in North Carolina, following Your Pie Charlotte, which opened last July, and Your Pie Cary, which opened in December. This is the first Your Pie location for Wilmington locals Jada O’Malley and Michael Baker.

“We’re so excited to share the Your Pie experience with new communities in Wilmington and beyond,” O’Malley said. “We fell in love with the idea of entire families coming to our restaurant and each enjoying their own individualized pizza, without the need to sacrifice what they really wanted. On top of that, Your Pie’s company values aligned so closely with our own, and we knew it was a perfect fit for us as entrepreneurs, and for our community. We hope to not only provide the freshest, most delicious pizza in town, but to also deliver an amazing experience to our customers.”

Recently, Your Pie has hosted Dine and Donate events in support of the Cape Fear Literacy Council. During each shift, the restaurant has served free pizzas for up to 200 registered guests and collected monetary donations on behalf of the Literary Council, in an effort to help support a community organization while conducting a soft opening.

“We’re so grateful to be a part of this community and are excited to show our appreciation through a variety of giveback initiatives, starting with our Dine and Donate events,” O’Malley said.

Founded in 2008 by Drew French, Your Pie began franchising in 2010 and now operates more than 50 stores across the United States, with about 50 locations currently in development.

Family recipes from the Italian island of Ischia inspire all menu items, including the rotating seasonal menu. Your Pie uses hand-tossed dough, fresh ingredients and homemade pizza sauces and salad dressings for their Caesar, Caprese, and Greek salads. In addition to traditional white and wheat dough, Your Pie offers gluten-free pizzas, as well as vegan and vegetarian options. They also serve local craft beer, wine and gelato.

While there are six signature 10-inch pizzas on the menu, there is an extensive selection of ingredients available for “build your own” creations, all for $7.99, no matter now many toppings. Build your own paninis and chopped salads are also $7.99. For an additional $3.99, customers can create a combo meal, adding a drink along with a side salad, chips or gelato. Kid’s meals include a 7-inch pizza or half panini or side salad with a drink and one scoop of gelato for $5.49.

“At Your Pie, we believe that food can be fresh, fast, delicious and experiential,” French said. “We want to be the go-to fast casual restaurant where families, friends, colleagues and groups can gather, dine and share memories without having to share pizzas. We’re excited for the opportunity to bring the original fast casual, individualized pizza concept to Wilmington and the surrounding communities.”
