Local Eateries Provide Easter Brunch Options

Easter celebrations are just around the corner, so if you’re seeking options for brunch this Sunday, here’s a list of area restaurants that provide them.
 
Kornerstone Bistro, 8262 Market St., will serve Easter brunch from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. In addition to the restaurant's regular line-up of brunch items and waffle and omelet stations, there will be prime rib and ham carving stations and an omelet and a waffle station.  Families will also enjoy a visit from the Easter Bunny. The price is $22.95 for adults and $10.95 for children 12 and under. Reservations: 686-2296.
 
The Cam Café, located at the Cameron Art Museum, 3201 S. 17th St., will serve Easter brunch with seatings at 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m. The brunch will also include an Easter egg hunt and live music by Grenoldo Frazier. The price is $32.95 for adults and $12.95 for children. Reservations: 777-2363.
 
Osteria Cicchetti in Monkey Junction will serve all the mainstays of its usual Sunday brunch with the addition of fresh fish and a prime rib and lamb-carving station. Guests will find a variety of pastries, Italian specialties and desserts. Easter brunch will be served from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is $25.95 for adults and $11.95 for children 12 and under. No charge for very young children.

East Oceanfront Dining at the Blockade Runner will serve brunch from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and will feature carving stations with roast leg of lamb, and prime rib; a seafood station with oysters, peel and eat shrimp and smoked salmon; and a shrimp and grits station. Additional seafood, chicken and pork dishes will be served along with plenty of sides, including vegan options. An egg hunt will take place at 1:45. Pricing is $48 for adults and $18 for children under 12. Children under 3 are free. Reservations: 256-7109.
 
Bluewater Oceanfront Grill will serve brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a buffet offering breakfast classics such as Bananas Foster French toast, Belgian waffles, and Eggs Benedict, as well as bourbon and honey-glazed ham and baked salmon with creamy dill sauce. The buffet is $18.99 for adults and $8.99 for children under 12. Reservations: 256-8500.
 
For those looking for a more relaxed atmosphere, Fermental will host an afternoon of live music from the Sean Meade Trio in the beer garden accompanied by a Southern-inspired brunch menu from the Soulful Twist Food Truck. Fermental’s line of beer and wine will be available as well as a self-serve mimosa bar with seasonal fruits and enhancements.
