A full lineup of beer and wine events is taking place in downtown Wilmington starting this weekend, and here’s a look at what’s on tap.

Wilmington’s Wine & Beer Walk will be held 1-6 p.m. Saturday.

The walk begins at the Throne Theater, 208 Market St., where participants receive an ID and map of participating venues. Each stop includes two samples of wine or beer. Some of the participating venues include: Front Street Brewery, Slice of Life, Jenn's Vin, Tavern Law 1832, Bombers Beverage Co., Tasting Room, New Anthem Beer Project and Costello's Piano Bar.

Tickets are available online and at Front Street Brewery (cash only), 9 N. Front St. For more information, visit the event's website.

Ironclad Brewery, 115 N. Second St., will celebrate its 2nd Anniversary Party 2-10 p.m. Sunday. The first 20 customers to purchase a beer will receive free glassware, and the first 200 customers to purchase a beer will be entered into a raffle.

The Walsh Kelley School of Irish Dancing will perform at 3 p.m., and all Ironclad beers will be $2 all day. For more information, visit the brewery's website or Facebook page.

And the 7th Annual Cape Fear Beer & Wine Festival will take place noon-5 p.m. March 4, at the Wilmington Convention Center.

The festival will feature more than 50 American microbreweries and wineries, with more than 125 beers and wines offered for tasting. The festival will also feature live music, silent auction and other activities.

Ticket prices range from $10 (designated driver) to $50 (VIP Package) and all proceeds benefit the Beer Army Foundation.
