Clean Juice Coming To Mayfaire This Fall

Clean Juice founders Kat and Landon Eckles are bringing their North Carolina-based juice and smoothie bar to Mayfaire Town Center.

The company is the marriage of Kat Eckles’ passion for clean eating and organic juicing and Landon Eckles’ background in business. The couple opened the first Clean Juice in the Lake Norman area outside of Charlotte in June 2015, followed by a South Charlotte location this past April. A third location in Concord will open this month. Pending permits and construction, they hope to open at Mayfaire by late November.

Kat Eckles said the company has also just signed its first five franchise agreements, focusing efforts on growth throughout the Southeastern part of the country.

Clean Juice uses only all-organic produce and whole food sweeteners such as honey, dates and pure maple syrup.

The idea behind incorporating fresh juice into one’s diet is to flood the body with vitamins and minerals from organic produce, Kat Eckles said. Using non-organic produce would be counterproductive, she said, because then you would also be adding potentially harmful chemicals into your system.

She said fresh juices are a great way for those who aren’t big on fruits and vegetables to incorporate more of them into their diets.

“It’s amazing how people will start drinking one of our juices every morning and feel a great difference right away,” she said.

Clean Juice also offers juice cleanse plans for those looking to give their bodies a rest from digestion and rid their bodies from toxins. Kat Eckles said a quarterly juice cleanse with the right balance of produce can be a natural reset for the body.

Located next to Justice and across from Which Wich, the 1,000-square-foot Mayfaire location will feature both bar and outdoor seating.
