Blue Moon Gift Shops has created a new area dedicated to vendors carrying edible products.

The Strawberry Moon Market features several vendor kiosks, many with products made locally and throughout North Carolina.

Locally made products available at The Strawberry Moon Market include Sea Love Sea Salt, 8th Wonder Spice Blend, Lunchbox Pickles and Antonio Carlo Gourmet Marinara Sauce, just to name a few. Customers will also find Salem Baking Co. products and Elizabeth’s Brittles and Pralines, as well as a variety of toffees and North Carolina-based roasted coffees.

Blue Moon Owner Mary Ann Masucci said the market is currently only partially stocked, and new products are arriving daily.

“While we have several vendors that carry one or two edible items, we felt that dedicating an area to edible products makes them much more accessible to our customers,” Masucci said.

Mascucci is expecting the selection to grow to include honey as well as locally made baked goods from bakers such as Aunt Cakes Cookies.

“We have so many visitors who are looking to take home North Carolina products,” Masucci said. “This makes finding a great gift to bring home that much easier and is also a great way for locals to find locally made products.”

The Strawberry Moon Market also offers custom gift baskets.

The Strawberry Moon Market is located at Blue Moon Gift Shops, 203 Racine Drive, Unit 102.
