Several wine and beer events will be taking place over the next month. Here’s a quick look at what’s on tap:

Wilmington’s Wine & Beer Walk, presented by the Downtown Business Alliance and Bring It! Downtown, takes place Feb. 27. The walking tour highlights a variety of downtown venues including Ziggy’s By The Sea, Calico Room, Front Street Brewery, NeMa Lounge & Eatery, Slice of Life, BAR LoCAL and Costello’s Piano Bar. Tickets are $16 each or two for $27. Click here for details.

Also on Feb. 27, two anniversary parties will take place. Ironclad Brewery will celebrate its first anniversary with new releases and limited edition beers as well as live music throughout the day. Lighthouse Beer & Wine will celebrate its 18th anniversary with details soon to be released.

The Downtown Business Alliance also presents the sixth annual Cape Fear Beer Fest on March 5 at the Wilmington Convention Center. The event offers unlimited tastings from more than 100 taps of craft and international beers. Wine and cider will also be available. Tickets are $40; click here for more information.

And coming April 2, the public kick-off event of The Greater Wilmington Brewers Guild takes place at Ironclad Brewery. The goal of the guild is to promote the local craft beer scene and several issues facing the future plans of the brewing community will be addressed. Click here for details.
