A homebuilder based in Winston-Salem has opened an office in Southport, the company announced recently.

Isenhour Homes, led by president K. Todd Isenhour, is building homes in St. James Plantation, Oak Island and other coastal neighborhoods in Brunswick County, a company news release said.

The company’s new office, at 4330 Southport-Supply Road near St. James Plantation, “features an experienced in-house design team, design studio (coming in 2015) and portfolio of extraordinary floor plans,” the release said.

Isenhour’s revenues last year were $17.7 million, according to a Triad Business Journal article Sept. 19. The firm doubled its number of employees to 22 from 2011 to 2013, and increased its sales by 85 percent in the past year, the Triad journal reported.
