The local franchise of a company that provides printing services, including signs, banners and marketing items, for businesses in the Cape Fear region and beyond has relocated to bigger space on South College Road in Wilmington.

AlphaGraphics moved last week to Unit I at 3534 S. College Road, expanding the franchise’s square footage from just under 3,000 square feet to 6,000.

Rick Stinson, AlphaGraphics franchise owner in Wilmington for seven years, and his seven employees had outgrown their former location at 3538 S. College Road, especially after adding large-format printing capabilities to the myriad of services they offer.

“This became available and it was a prime location,” Stinson said Tuesday.

The new location, which is behind the franchise's previous address, includes a lobby, a conference room, a place to gather all digital printing in one area, three more individual offices and a break room area among other features. The new address immediately provided space for two new machines, including a plotter for scanning and printing architectural plans.

“We’ve got room for a little bit of growth as well,” Stinson said.

In addition to serving other businesses in the Wilmington area, Stinson’s franchise of the Utah-based company provides printing to customers elsewhere in the U.S. via online ordering.

“If it’s printing, we can get it or do it,” Stinson said.
