Leland Storage Facility Sells For $2.5M

By Cece Nunn, posted Jun 29, 2016
Wilmington-based firm Cape Fear Commercial recently completed a multi-million dollar transaction involving a storage facility in Brunswick County, according to an announcement this week.

CFC broker Mike Brown represented the seller, A Quality Self Storage Inc., in the sale of the company's facility on U.S. 17 in Leland to another prominent self-storage firm for $2.5 million, the release said.

The property, which has an address of 7815 Ocean Highway E., consists of 57,300 square feet of enclosed self-storage along with adjoining RV and boat storage. The buyer, Martin Self Storage, currently has seven locations in New Hanover and Brunswick counties and is expanding throughout southeast North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida, the release said.

“We have had a long standing relationship with the owners of A Quality Self Storage and were very pleased to be able to successfully sell this asset to a first-class operation like Martin Self Storage,” Brown said in the release.
