Firm Buys 46,000-square-foot Industrial Building In Leland

By Cece Nunn, posted Apr 16, 2015
A company bought a bank-owned building in Leland Industrial Park recently for $575,000.

Barn Creek LLC purchased the industrial facility at 9191 Industrial Blvd., which includes a 46,000-square-foot warehouse and about 4,500 square feet of office space, on March 31, according to documents filed with the Brunswick County register of deeds.

Built in 1987, the building sits on nearly 3 acres. The purchaser had no comment Thursday about the transaction.

Garry Silivanch, broker and partner with Eastern Carolinas Commercial Real Estate, represented the buyer and the seller.

Earlier this year, Bradford Products, maker of stainless steel pools and other products, signed a lease with an option to buy for a 175,000-square-foot industrial building in the park, which is located in the Brunswick County town of Leland.

The 2,200-acre park, eight miles west of Wilmington, is zoned for heavy manufacturing and highlighted on the Brunswick County Economic Development Commission's website as a county asset in terms of attracting new industry.
