Realty Couple Launches Local Keller Williams Realty Division

By J. Elias O'Neal, posted Oct 1, 2013

A Wilmington realty couple has launched its own firm.

Ladd Gasparovic said Tuesday that he and his wife, Stephanie, have launched Wilmington-based Keller Williams Realty.

The firm recently inked a lease for 3,947 square feet of office space at 432 Eastwood Road, Suite 200, Gasparovic said.

Glenn Imboden, a broker with Wilmington-based Harley & Associates Commercial Real Estate Inc., represented the tenant and landlord during the mid-September transaction for an undisclosed amount.

“We were going to go independent and began to learn more about Keller Williams,” Gasparovic said of his decision to adopt the Keller Williams Realty brand. “It was a no brainer.”

Gasparovic said an existing Keller Williams Realty division, located at 4039 Masonboro Loop Road, Suite C1, will join the new Keller Williams office on Eastwood Road – bringing a combined total of 30 agents in the coming weeks.

“They are a great group of agents to bring on and grow the Keller Williams name,” Gasparovic said. “We’re excited to have them join us.”

The Gasparovics, both agents with Wilmington-based Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage for nearly four years, will oversee the operation that plans to list and sell residences in New Hanover, Pender, Brunswick and Onslow counties. He said the move to Keller Williams will position the team to grow the Keller Williams name actively in the greater Wilmington market.

A grand opening event is being planned, although a final date has not been announced.

“The core values and mission of Keller Williams was perfectly aligned with our core values and mission,” Stephanie Gasparovic said. “Keller Williams stresses the importance of God, family and business.”

Ladd Gasparovic said the move will allow them to grow their business.

“We felt that this was the next step in our growing our team and helping other agents grow their teams,” he said. “The Keller Williams model gives us a great opportunity to grow our general brokerage and new home business. We have some really exciting things to come, especially in the area of new homes.”
