Sam Ibrahim, vice president of information technology for Intracoastal Realty, has been appointed to the Board of Trustees for Cape Fear Community College.
His position is one of four appointed to the college’s governing board by the New Hanover County Board of Commissioners.
The trustees are responsible for the development and operation of the college in accordance with the provisions of the law and standards of the State Board of Community Colleges.
Ibrahim has been with Intracoastal Realty since 1999.
“It is an honor to serve the Wilmington community through the board of trustees, and I look forward to contributing to the success of Cape Fear Community College,” Ibrahim said in a statement. “As a father of four young teens, I value the educational opportunities that CFCC offers. And as a technology professional with more than 20 years experience, I plan to support CFCC as it expands its technology capabilities both in and outside the classroom.”
