Covil Crossing Agrees To Work Exclusively With Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Realty

By JP Finlay, posted Apr 12, 2011

Consumers looking to buy a house in the new Covil Crossing development will work exclusively with Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Realty. The new development is being built adjacent to Covil Estates by the same developer, Bob Weinbach.

“We’re excited about representing Mr. Weinbach. He’s built a wonderful reputation in our market. It’s a great opportunity for us,” said Tim Milam, president of Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Realty.

“After 20 years of marketing and selling our own properties we are very excited to partner with Coldwell Banker Sea Coast,” Weinbach said in a press release. “We have been extremely impressed with the professionalism and integrity of Coldwell Banker Sea Coast team; they have established themselves as the clear leader for this region in general brokerage and new home sales.”

Two model homes for the development should finish next month and onsite realtor Kelly Girolami said she expects two spec houses to finish within 120 days.

“We have a lot of excitement and it’s a great location. You’re five minutes from everything,” Girolami said. “You really don’t have to add anything, they are really great homes.”

The development is located off Military Cutoff Road near the Landfall area and Mayfaire Town Center. Plans call for more than 11 acres to be developed with 45 single-family homes sitting on lots between a quarter and a third of an acre. The one-story brick homes come with hardwood floors and landscaped yards. Prices for the homes will begin at $320,000.

Girolami said the development will be well-suited for retirees moving to Wilmington or area residents looking to downsize.

“We’ve had calls and have shown the property. Fifty plus is our target market but we will certainly take 30 and 20-year-olds if they want to buy in there,” Girolami said.

Residents at Covil Crossing will be welcome to enjoy the clubhouse and other amenities of Covil Estates.

Girolami and Lisa Hadgraft serve onsite at Covil Crossing on behalf of Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Realty. The two real estate agents have been making calls to other brokers and networking to get the word out on the development.
