Good Shepherd Expands Staff

Good Shepherd Center recently expanded its capacity and hired two people to support growing operations, according to a press release.

Kristin Pollock was hired as volunteer coordinator, which is a newly created position for the center, 811 Martin St. 

Pollock, who was originally hired as an administrative assistant in early July, works on recruiting, training and managing Good Shepherd’s more than 500 volunteers. She is a graduate of Appalachian State University. 

Logan White also was hired as the agency’s new director of resource development. Her responsibilities include coordinating special events for the organization, implementing Good Shepherd’s marketing plan, grant writing and expanding and improving donor relations in the community.

White previously served as development director for United Way of Onslow County.  She also has worked as a marketing specialist for Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity. White  from the MPA program at the University of North Carolina Wilmington in December.
